Turn off computers when not in use.

Change your computer's screen to energy saver.

Borrow books from your library instead of purchasing them.

Buy an energy efficient 5 star rating refrigerator when  you need a new fridge.

Change to compact fluorescent globes.

Use heater on a low setting.

Only operate the dishwasher when it is full.

Take 3 minute showers instead of baths.

Switch off lights as you leave the room.

Use local shops instead of ones further away.
